We prefer to meet you in person to pick your puppy up but if that is not possible, we can usually arrange shipping by ground transport or by airplane if I feel the puppy is strong enough for the flight. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs & payment must be received prior to scheduling shipping arrangements. We will not be responsible for death or injury to your pup during transportation, that will be between you & the transporter. There are times when we will not ship a puppy due to it's small size & it would have to be picked up. If you would like to fly in to the Springfield, Missouri Airport, I can meet you at the airport with the puppy so you can turn around & fly back home with your puppy as a carry-on.
For ground shipping, we have used Christian Transports successfully in the past but I'm not sure if they are in business anymore.
For air shipping, I have used both Northwest & Delta airlines out of the Springfield Missouri airport & never have had a problem with either. Air shipping usually runs around $325.00 depending on the destination. The airlines have increased thier prices in the last 8 months by over $50.00---I guess due to the price of fuel. I had to increase my price to make up the difference--sorry.
If you decide you want one of my babies--this will give you a little bit of an idea of how things work.....
If you will be picking the puppy up in person
1. you email me to make sure the puppy you want is still available
2. I will email you back to let you know
3. you will send a deposit (or the entire amount if you prefer) for that particular puppy
4. once I get your deposit, I will let you know & will place that puppy "on hold" for you
5.I will update you weekly with new pictures & let you know how your baby is doing
6. if you will tell me a little about yourself-- I can get a better idea of when he will be ready to leave me---
a. have you ever had this breed before
b. will he be alone for most of the day while everyone works or goes to school or will there be someone there with him or will he be allowed to go to work with you
c. do you have small children
d. is there another small indoors dog in your house
7. once he is old or big enough & healed from his/her spay/neuter surgery, I will email you to tell you he is ready to go to his new home
8. you & I will arrange a date, time & place that is convenient for us both to meet so you can take your new baby home
9. the remaining balance must be paid in cash at the time of pickup if not paid previously
If you will need your puppy shipped to you by plane

9. the remaining balance will need to be paid including all shipping charges at this time if not done previously---I will not make any reservations until the balance is paid in full
10. I will let you know when I receive the balance in full
11. I will call the airlines to see if they have an opening for any of those days that worked for us both
12. if they do, I will book the reservation
13. I will email you to let you know the date, time & flight schedule
14. I will make an appointment with my vet for the airlines required vet health certificate & if the puppy is 12 weeks of age--also for his rabies vaccine which is also required by the airlines (vet health certificates are only good 10 days so the flight reservation has to be made first)
15. I will take your puppy to the Springfield Missouri airport on the day of his reservation & if for some reason he does not make it on the plane---due to unseen circumstances such as the flight was canceled or whatever--& if I can not get on any other flights that day--I will call you from the airport to tell you not to be expecting him & once I get back home I will email you & we can arrange another day.
16. if your puppy does get on the plane as planned--I will not call you
17. once you get home with your new baby, please email me to let me know he made it safe & sound
If you will need your puppy shipped to you by ground transportation

*****NOTE***** I am not sure if Christians are in business anymore & I have not used any other ground shipping company to transport my puppies---until I find another company I feel comfortable with---I will not ground ship---unless Christians will do it, so if this is the way you want to get your baby---email me & I will have to do some checking.

12. I will call my vet for an appointment to get the required vet health certificate & if the puppy is over 12 weeks of age--the required rabies vaccine (vet health certificates are only good for 10 days so the delivery reservation has to be made first)
13. I will meet Christian Transports at the arranged date & time (usually on a Sunday) & they will leave out with your puppy & the other puppies they have to deliver that week early Monday morning.
14. once you get home with your new puppy--Please email me to let me know that he made it safe & sound
